Melody of Peace

International Award winning composition, Melody of Peace by composers/performers Louie Hurwitz and Marie Spinosa, was recently released on the ERM/Naxos Label, and is now available for Symphony Holiday Bookings.

In 2006, Composers Louie Hurwitz and Marie Spinosa wrote the theme song Melody of Peace for a CBS Christmas Special.

In 2007, Melody of Peace won the International Composition Award given by 21st Century Composers’ Label ERM Media. The song was recorded by the Prague Radio Symphony and Kuhn Choir Conducted by Robert Ian Winstin with Louie and Marie on piano & vocals. This recording was released on a compilation of 21st century compositions by ERM Media and distributed by Naxos.

Melody of Peace has been performed in Siberia Russia with the Novosibirsk Symphony & Choir.

Prof. Louie, Miss Marie and The Crowmatix will appear at Merkin Concert Hall in New York in a Holiday Program on December 17, 2008.

Melody of Peace is available on a single CD recording Holiday Time featuring Prof. Louie and The Crowmatix.
