Ensemble Concertante Vienna was founded by Eugeniy Chevkenov at the end of 2001 and had its Debut on January 5th 2002. This concert was reported on the central Sunday news on the National Austrian TV-chanel ORF and called “event of the month” and “poetry on strings”. The Ensemble has been developing since, wining the love and appreaciation of the audience in Europa and Asia, performing for IBM, Vienna Economic Forum, LifeBall 2003 etc. It has released numerous CDs and welcome some distinguished soloist, members of the Vienna Philharmonic. Being skilled in the very distinct art of playing Vienese music, Ensemble Concertante Vienna was invited by the Austrian and Chinese Governments to perform at the unvailing of the Johann Strauss Monument in Beijing, China in July 2004. Because of it´s extraordinary achievements in the Art of Music Concertante Vienna was supported by the Austrian Government – in 2006 and 2007 all appearences by the Ensemble are under the Patronage of the Austrian Parlament and it´s President Mrs. Barbara Prammer. In October 2007 ECV will perform at the ACF in New York City and the Austrian Embassy in Washington DC.
